This modern-day satiric fable follows a fellow named Chance as he falls in love with the wrong man, discovers his landlady was once a cat, and unexpectedly falls in with a mesmerizing man named Jonson Johnson, setting off a fiery fiasco at a glittering party fashioned after the high-haired ‘pouf’ balls of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.
